Job summary

Equitable invites rising undergraduates for a 10-week Summer Intern position with the Equitable Foundation, Social Impact Team in Charlotte, NC. This internship offers hands-on work on meaningful projects, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to corporate philanthropy.

You'll analyze data, support grant administration, and help communicate opportunities to partners while developing professional skills in a client‑focused environment with flexible hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
• Interest in social impact, philanthropy, volunteerism, or community engagement.
• Leadership through volunteer work or student organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of high-visibility projects, including the Equitable Excellence Senior Leader Meet & Greet and an intern led volunteer event.
• Collaborate with nonprofit partners and employees while representing Equitable at volunteer, networking, and professional development events.
• Track and analyze KPIs, program metrics, and engagement data to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create communications and resources that promote volunteer opportunities, partnerships, and community programs.
• Assist with grant administration, project coordination, and process improvement that support team operations.
