Job summary

Plural is a multidisciplinary marketing company in NYC. We seek a Junior Editor (Contractor/Intern) to own internal video edits and support client workflows from our Lower East Side studio.

You’ll work under the Team Lead, Production & Editor, editing social-first content with fast turnaround times. Qualified candidates are college seniors in Film/Video Production with 1–2 years of practical experience and strong Premiere Pro skills.

Qualifications

• Current college senior pursuing a degree in Film/Video Production or related field with 1–2 years of practical experience.
• Strong video editing skills focused on fast-paced, social-first content and commercial pacing.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder; familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit Plural’s internal video assets and support client work through rough assemblies, selects, and project setups.
• Lead assembly and final cuts for internal media properties and short-form content with platform-native pacing.
• Adapt edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring correct aspect ratios and compression.
• Maintain post-production pipelines, organize project files, and support on-site and travel shoots.
• Build Premiere Pro project files per guidelines, archive final assets, and assist in studio continuity.
