Job description

Who We Are

Parenting isn't picture‑perfect. It's messy, hilarious, exhausting, and life‑changing — sometimes all before noon. That's where we come in. Founded in 2014 by our CEO Chelsea Hirschhorn, Frida was built to make the raw reality of parenting a little easier to navigate (and a lot less overwhelming). It all started with one legendary snot‑sucker — the NoseFrida — and has grown into a 200+ product lineup that supports families through every stage: from fertility and postpartum recovery to baby care and beyond.

We don't shy away from the stuff no one else wants to talk about — nipple pain, diaper blowouts, or the emotional rollercoaster that comes with keeping a tiny human alive. We call it like it is, solve the problems that actually matter, and build products that help parents feel seen, supported, and totally capable. You can now find Frida products in 50+ countries and thousands of stores across the U.S., from the biggest national retailers to your neighborhood grocery aisle.

Under Hirschhorn's leadership, Frida has become a category leader by challenging taboos, championing honesty, and supporting families at every stage of parenthood and beyond, earning acclaim on TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies, TIME Best Inventions, Fast Company Most Innovative Companies and Fast Company Brands That Matter. But the real win? Knowing we're helping parents everywhere feel a little more human and a little less alone.

How You Will Make an Impact

Frida is seeking a Social Content Lead, Publishing & Programming to join our Content & Social team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Content & Social Strategy, this person owns the operational system behind social: publishing, programming, calendars, campaign execution, creator/UGC intake, reporting, asset routing, and always‑on content planning. The Social Content Lead, Publishing & Programming will thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
Publishing & Programming
  • Own and manage social publishing calendars across Frida Baby, Frida Mom, Frida Fertility, Frida Kids, and future brand extensions
  • Translate business priorities, launches, campaigns, retail moments, partnerships, cultural moments, and audience insights into social programming plans
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and campaign‑level programming plans
  • Build and maintain recurring content franchises, series, and editorial formats
  • Ensure content is distributed strategically across channels based on platform‑specific behaviors
  • Manage publishing cadence and channel health across all owned social platforms
  • Ensure Frida never goes dark or operates without a clear 30‑day content plan
Content Strategy Execution
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Content & Social Strategy to execute channel strategies
  • Translate social strategy into weekly and monthly publishing plans
  • Build content calendars around category moments, product stories, launch priorities, creator content, community insights, and performance learnings
  • Help identify new content opportunities based on audience behavior, platform trends, cultural signals, and business priorities
  • Coordinate launch and campaign execution so every product gets its own story, world, and content mix
  • Partner with Creative and Production teams to ensure content aligns with channel objectives
  • Help create repeatable systems for serialized formats, recurring franchises, and always‑on social storytelling
Creator, UGC & Asset Flow
  • Partner with the social, influencer, creator, PR, and brand teams to organize creator, influencer, UGC, internal content, and campaign assets into one unified calendar
  • Route assets between creative, copy, design, video, creator, influencer, and brand teams
  • Help prioritize content opportunities across launches, retail moments, partnerships, activations, creator programs, and campaigns
  • Ensure every content input has a clear role in the broader publishing system
Performance & Optimization
  • Own Dash Social publishing, tagging, reporting, and performance recaps
  • Monitor content performance and identify actionable insights
  • Analyze engagement, retention, saves, shares, watch time, audience growth, and channel health
  • Continuously optimize publishing strategies based on platform signals and audience behavior
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting with clear recommendations
  • Identify content gaps, operational blockers, and opportunities to move faster
Content Hygiene & Systems
  • Help build content hygiene systems, including tagging, archiving, playlisting, highlights, and digital footprint cleanup
  • Support social listening workflows and ensure audience insights are fed back into programming
  • Maintain strong visibility across what is live, what is scheduled, what is in development, and what is missing
  • Create scalable workflows that allow the team to operate with speed, consistency, and clarity
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Creative, Influencer, PR, Paid Media, Analytics, E‑Comm, and Product Marketing teams
  • Ensure social content supports broader business, launch, retail, campaign, and marketing objectives
  • Act as a key stakeholder in social planning discussions
  • Help Frida operate with the rigor of a modern digital publisher rather than a traditional brand social team
What You Will Need
  • 4–7+ years in social media, editorial content, content operations, audience development, editorial programming, or social production
  • Experience inside a fast‑paced social‑first brand, media company, publisher, sports team, creator studio, entertainment brand, or culturally relevant consumer brand
  • Strong experience managing publishing calendars and social workflows across multiple platforms
  • Experience analyzing performance data and translating insights into action
  • Experience with Dash Social, Sprout, Asana or similar tools
  • Experience working with creator, influencer, or UGC content is strongly preferred
  • Bonus if they have experience in sports, entertainment, beauty, parenting, lifestyle, CPG, wellness, or creator‑led brands
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment in which requirements & priorities constantly change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Consumer obsessed and possess strong consumer understanding
  • Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive; can operate autonomously, but also collaboratively as part of a team
