Evvy is seeking a passionate Content Creator based in New York, NY to enhance our social media presence. This role focuses on producing engaging short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

You will collaborate closely with the Head of Content, appearing on camera and translating complex health topics into clear, relevant content. Your creativity and ability to foster community will play a pivotal role in closing the gender health gap.

About the Role

At Evvy, science-backed, shame-free education is core to our mission to close the gender health gap. Our social channels are where this comes to life, using video and storytelling to destigmatize vaginal health and build a brand that feels both sophisticated and refreshingly authentic.

We’re looking for a Content Creator to help take Evvy’s presence to the next level. This is a video-first role — you’ll be both on- and behind- camera; shooting, editing, and producing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts while helping shape how we show up across all our social channels (where we already reach 340k+ followers). Beyond video, you’ll help plan and map content across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and wherever our audience is. You’ll work closely with our Head of Content to translate complex health topics into content that’s clear, culturally relevant, and genuinely worth watching.

This role is for someone who’s always thinking in video — who instinctively knows what makes people stop scrolling, feels at home on camera, and gets energized by building community around conversations the world has kept quiet for too long.

Evvy is a primarily in-person team based in New York, NY with a strong culture of collaboration and connection. We work from the office 4 days a week (Wednesdays remote), and we genuinely enjoy spending time together: team dinners, happy hours, and shared wins are part of the rhythm here.

What you’ll do:

• Create short-form video content end-to-end — From pre-production planning (scripts, shot lists, mood boards) through filming and final edit, you’ll own the full video production process for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Be one of Evvy’s faces on social — you’ll appear on camera regularly to educate, engage, and build trust with our audience, communicating about sensitive health topics with clarity, warmth, and zero stigma.

• Develop concepts that stop the scroll — Bring social-first video ideas to the table that align with Evvy’s brand storytelling, with a sharp eye for hooks, pacing, and platform-native formats.

• Support content planning across social — Help map and coordinate content across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and beyond, keeping our channels consistent, on-brand, and timely.

• Engage our community — Show up in the comments, nurture conversations, and help build authentic relationships with our audience.

• Experiment with emerging tools and platforms — Including AI-assisted workflows, to enhance creativity and efficiency.

• Stay culturally plugged in — Keep a pulse on social trends, emerging formats, and cultural moments to inform what we make and when we post it.

• Track and learn — Monitor performance across platforms and share insights that help us iterate and improve.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or video production — agency, brand-side, or creator background all welcome.

• Confident on camera.

• A strong portfolio of short-form video work across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts.

• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar) with a sharp instinct for pacing, hooks, and storytelling.

• A native understanding of social platforms and what makes content perform on each one.

• Strong organizational skills — you can manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and content calendars without dropping the ball.

• A collaborative mindset — you’re excited to build alongside a small, fast-moving team.

• Genuine passion for Evvy’s mission — you don’t have to have a background in health, but you care about the work and can communicate about sensitive topics with thoughtfulness and care.
