Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Bristol, CT is seeking a Programming Coordinator to support ESPN Soccer Programming teams with day-to-day scheduling and partner coordination for Live and VOD content across English and Spanish platforms.

You will collaborate with multiple ESPN departments and external rightsholders to fulfill contracts, drive scheduling strategy, and help grow audience and revenue while adapting to evolving programming priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of global soccer and other sports disciplines including leagues, clubs, and star athletes.
• General knowledge of the sports media industry and digital/social media platforms.
• High level of curiosity and self-motivation in digging deeper into data/trends and driving insights.
• Proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems.
• Highly collaborative with a team-first attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across levels.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist strategic scheduling of all assigned programming (Live and VOD) including schedules for soccer and golf properties (LaLiga, NWSL, FA Cup, Copa del Rey, USL, and more).
• Manage internal scheduling system (CS) matters: ratings, scheduling, product display, etc.
• Communicate information effectively to external partners and across departments.
• Interact with Production, Marketing, Sales, Research, Social Media, Legal, and Digital/Editorial teams.
• Support long-term and ad-hoc projects to align with broader ESPN strategy.
• Contribute to company-wide scheduling strategy across platforms to grow the business.
