Job summary

Collier County Public Schools is seeking coaches for Soccer JV AC/BO as supplemental positions. Applicants must have a completed online application and be at least 21, with a high school diploma or GED.

Candidates must hold current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification; First Aid/CPR/AED; one reference letter (not required for current CCPS staff). This role is paid as a supplement by the school district.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
