- High School Graduate
- Highly Organized
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30
- Act 34, Act 151, and FBI Clearances (self‑paid)
- Act 126 & Act 71 Training Certifications
- Pre‑Employment Drug Screening (self‑paid)
- Letter of Interest, Resume and Application directly through the District Website
Qualifications
- Has ability to organize and supervise an intramural sports program
- Has previous successful coaching experience in soccer
- Coaches must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
- Must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field
- The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions
Reports To
The athletic director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation.
Job Goal
To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. The coach must also instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self‑discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. The coach should continually upgrade his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Has knowledge of existing system, state and league regulations; implements these consistently and interprets them for students.
- Organize and supervise intramural sports programs.
