Job summary

Falls Church City Public Schools is seeking an assistant athletics coach at Meridian High School to support the head coach with training and instruction of student athletes, help develop practice plans, and contribute to compliance with district policies.

The role requires prior coaching, certification readiness, strong communication, teamwork, and physical stamina to assist with activities and equipment use while serving as a positive role model for students.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Holds or is eligible for First Aid, AED and CPR certification.
• Sensory skills to communicate effectively with staff and the public.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Physical ability for climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing and moving.
