Hanover Community School Corporation invites applications for an Athletics/Activities/Coaching role at Hanover Central High School. The position emphasizes high academic standards for participating students and professional conduct during supervising activities.
Qualifications include educational/athletic leadership and management skills and a minimum high school diploma; prior coaching experience is preferred.
Expect the highest academic standards from students in their charge and do whatever possible to facilitate the completion of assignments by students participating in multiple extra‑curricular activities. While working as an extra‑curricular instructor/sponsor/coach, it is important that the staff conduct themselves in a manner that draws attention to the students participating in the activity rather than to themselves. Dress and maintain appearance befitting the dignity and importance of the activity; maintain a standard of public conduct and morality that serves as a proper example for the youth of Hanover Community School Corporation; maintain a good teacher/student relationship that emphasizes professionalism at all times; remain professional in actions and words when dealing with stressful situations that may occur while supervising students and in doing so will show each student proper respect as an individual with dignity. Educational/athletic leadership and management skills, minimum high school diploma; preferred experience in coaching and training in the requested sport.
$3004.00 per year (Established rate per the current Master Agreement)
