Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking an Academy Performance Analyst Intern to join the Academy Performance Analysis team in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports performance analysis for the academy, learning to capture training and fixtures, code data, and produce feedback for coaches and players.

The internship runs roughly February through December and requires up to 28 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. You will work with the club's data analyst to benchmark academy players and create

Qualifications

• Pursuing a performance analysis or sports-related degree.
• US Soccer D coaching certification or equivalent.
• Good technical and tactical soccer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Capture academy training sessions and code live and post-training.
• Provide feedback to coaches and players based on training data.
• Capture academy fixtures home and away as required (live/post-match).
• Label academy fixtures generating KPI’s at individual and team levels.
• Create educational videos using first team and other leagues to demonstrate best practice.
• Create post-match analysis videos for players and coaches.
• Collaborate with the club's data analyst to benchmark academy players.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by Head of Performance Analysis and Director of Player Development.
