Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior ASIC validation engineer in San Diego to join the System Validation & Emulation (SVE) team.

You will develop content for pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon validation across state-of-the-art SoCs, collaborating across HW and SW to ensure end-to-end silicon quality. The role focuses on SOC Infrastructure/NoC, power and performance validation, with emphasis on interconnects, memory hierarchy, and debug tools.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 4+ years ASIC validation experience.
• Experience in silicon validation, platform bring-up, and pre-/post-silicon validation.
• Knowledge of NoCs, AXI, AHB interconnects and cache/memory hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough performance validation plans and assess Power-Performance trade-offs.
• Analyze SOC bandwidth, QoS, latency and throughput across NoC and interconnects.
• Create performance dashboards, reports, and technical reviews for leadership.
• Drive methodology for benchmarking and KPI tracking across generations.
