Job summary

Apple Inc. in California is seeking a multifaceted engineer to develop system level test programs for debug, characterization, qualification and production of SoC devices.

You will characterize parametric performance of High Speed IO PHYs, PLLs, sensors and other Custom HardIPs, define plans, perform data analysis and sign off on silicon characterization activities.

Collaborate with DFT, design, validation, test engineering and manufacturing to productize next-gen SoCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with High-Speed IO PHYs and mixed-signal IPs.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis for yield and performance.
• Ability to script in Python or PERL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for silicon characterization.

Responsibilities

• Characterize parametric performance of High Speed IO PHYs, PLLs, and sensors.
• Define tests, perform data analysis, and review results with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate IP testability with DFT and design teams.
• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support production test time reduction through data-driven characterization.
