Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Engineer II in Cyber Incident Response to join the SOC. You will detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across phishing, malware, and unauthorized access scenarios.

You will analyze logs and forensic data to define scope, escalate high-severity cases, and help improve playbooks and runbooks across global teams. With 3–5 years in cybersecurity and hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR tools, you will mentor junior analysts and contribute to threat

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity.
• 3–5 years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in SOC/incidence response.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27035.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents including phishing, malware and unauthorized access.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and forensic data to determine scope and impact.
• Escalate complex incidents with clear documentation and evidence.
• Contribute to SOC playbooks, runbooks, and procedures.
• Support junior analysts and collaborate with threat intel and forensics teams.
