Job summary

S R INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a Tier I analyst to join the NSOC team, supporting a 24/7 shift schedule and on-site monitoring of essential communication sites and information systems.

You will classify alerts, triage incidents, document actions, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve playbooks, dashboards, and detection strategies; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Support a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide proactive, on-site monitoring for mission-critical sites and information systems.
• Classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts for timely resolution.
• Follow procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation.
• Capture, log, and document events from multiple channels.
• Analyze technical data to classify events and reduce false positives.
• Develop and refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of incidents and actions.
• Support network and security incidents as directed.

This Tier I level analyst will act as a core member of the NSOC team, contributing to overall operational readiness and support a 24/7 shift schedule. Interested candidates must be willing to take on other shifts.

Description of Duties

• Support a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide proactive, on-site monitoring and response for mission-essential communication sites and information systems.
• Classify, prioritize, and elevate alerts promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Follow established procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation to meet performance targets.
• Capture, log, respond and elevate events from email, chat, voice, and other systems with accurate documentation.
• Collect and analyze technical data to classify events, distinguish valid issues from false positives, and maintain triage accuracy standards.
• Work with team members to develop and refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of incidents and recommended response actions.
• Provide support during network and security incidents, assisting with resolution efforts as directed.
