The Addison Group is seeking a SOC Analyst I for our Dallas HQ. The role requires 4+ years in security analysis, hands-on SIEM work (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar), and vulnerability management to support disaster recovery and network air gaps.

Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA+, or Cybersecurity+ are advantageous. We value someone who can hit the ground running, learn the environment quickly, and clearly articulate findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security analysis or cybersecurity.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar).
• Experience with vulnerability scans.
• Disaster recovery experience.
• Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA+, or Cybersecurity+ preferred.

Responsabilités

• Run vulnerability scans and manage SIEM to strengthen security posture.
• Support disaster recovery planning and establish air gaps for the network.
• Respond to security alerts and document findings for leadership.
• Familiarize with backlog and tiered security needs.

Title: SOC Analyst I

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay Range: $65K-$85K

We are looking to bring on a SOC Analyst to our team due to growth in our Dallas HQ. What we need is someone who comes from 4+ years of experience in the SOC space running vulnerability scans, penetration testing, managing/enhancing our SIEM. supporting our Disaster Recovery, and establishing an Air Gap for our network. There is already an established backlog for us through Monday.com, so we will need this person to become familiar with tiered needs. Any certifications such as CEH, CompTIA+, or Cybersecurity+ will be needed.

Personality-wise we will need someone who can hit the ground running, is curious to learn about environment, and can articulate their findings to leadership.
