You will work with IT, operations, compliance, and risk teams, applying security tools, conducting assessments, and developing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of cybersecurity/information security operations experience.
• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles and security tools.
• Experience conducting security assessments and implementing mitigations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, investigate, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Implement protective measures and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, compliance, and risk teams to ensure DHMS IT requirements.
• Conduct security assessments using tools such as firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Develop documentation supporting data security best practices.
• Support application and server security activities, including identifying vulnerabilities.
• Apply knowledge of identity/access management and secure operating environments.
