Job summary

STL Digital is seeking an experienced security operations professional with 3+ years in SOC or cybersecurity environments. The role requires strong knowledge of networks, operating systems, security principles, and attack techniques, plus hands-on SIEM/EDR experience (Microsoft Sentinel).

Familiarity with Defender XDR and scripting in PowerShell/Python is expected. Cloud security across Azure/AWS is desired.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a SOC or cybersecurity operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of networks, OS, security principles, and attack techniques.
• Certifications or demonstrable experience (Security+, Network+, CCNA, etc.).
• Exposure to SIEM/EDR and security monitoring technologies (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel).
• Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to read and adapt scripts in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or KQL.
• Understanding of cloud security across Azure, AWS, etc.
