Job summary

EY is seeking a SOAR Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery and optimization of security automation solutions for enterprise clients. You will guide cross-functional teams and ensure scalable, secure architectures that deliver measurable value.

You will collaborate with security operations, incident response, threat detection, and engineering stakeholders to translate complex findings into actionable plans while mentoring teams and maintaining delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 6–10 years in security automation or SOAR.
• Experience leading design and delivery of security automation in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with enterprise SOAR platforms and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOAR engagements from discovery to deployment and transition.
• Advise on automation strategy, governance, platform selection and roadmaps.
• Own solution architecture and ensure scalable, secure designs.
• Develop playbooks for incident triage, enrichment, investigation and remediation.
• Oversee integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud and collaboration platforms.
• Provide oversight for custom integrations and cloud-native automation.
• Facilitate workshops and translate findings into implementation plans.
• Manage scope, risks, staffing, and delivery milestones with client satisfaction.
• Establish engineering standards and production support models.
