Job summary

Buff City Soap in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking team members to deliver outstanding customer service, engage customers, and recommend products in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will juggle production duties with customer flow, maintain clean Makery and retail spaces, and collaborate closely with a friendly team while following all policies. Training and growth opportunities are available in a dynamic, fragrance-rich shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all clients’ needs are met and treated professionally.
• Engage with all clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs as a client.
• Make product recommendations.
• Maintain the minimum sales requirements.
• Multi-task: juggle product production as clients enter and leave; engage new clients upon arrival.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the Makery including the production and retail areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced environment, while upholding all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to perform makery cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
