Job description

• Must possess an advanced degree in a scientific field or information systems/systems engineering related area and at least eight years experience in the information systems/software engineering field
• Must be experienced with and familiar with current research and standards in the area of Net-Centricity (NC)/Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) methodologies and technologies
• Shall have demonstrated experience and ability to lead a team of specialists involved in combining a multitude of very complex system and software packages into a NC/SOA
• Must be able to effectively communicate technical visions with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Must possess ability to coordinate and consolidate SOA initiatives, to include governance, across organizations involved in all aspects of software engineering for medical retail and wholesale operations
• Must possess ability to assess architecture and current hardware limitations, define and design complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
• Must be able to coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system and life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management
• Alternate qualification would be a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years experience in the information systems/software engineering field
