Qualifications

• Strong skiing and/or snowboarding ability for the assigned discipline.
• Patient communication and enjoyment working with learners.
• Ability to manage groups and make sound safety decisions.
• Teaching, coaching, childcare, or service experience preferred.
• PSIA-AASI certification valued; required training must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Teach private or group ski and/or snowboard lessons within assigned discipline and ability level.
• Assess students, select terrain, explain skills, and provide positive feedback.
• Manage safety, attendance, equipment checks, lift use, and transitions.
• Create an inclusive learning environment and communicate with parents or guardians.
• Maintain terrain, conditions, program, and emergency-procedure knowledge.
• Participate in training and professional development.
• Work safely and follow resort procedures, department standards, and applicable regulations.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leaders, and support other departments when resort operations require it.
• Provide friendly, solutions-focused service to guests and coworkers.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and promptly report hazards, equipment concerns, or guest issues.
