Job summary

Killington Pico Ski Resort is seeking a Compressor Attendant to oversee a compressor pad during the winter snowmaking season. You will operate diesel and electric air compressors, perform routine checks, and maintain equipment logs while supporting snowmaking operations.

• Ability to work night shifts (7PM-7AM) and 12-hour shifts on weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a designated compressor pad, pump house, area, or zone.
• Start, stop, and maintain electric and diesel air compressors per snowmaking needs.
• Perform equipment adjustments and routine checks on compressors, pumps, and valves.
• Maintain hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly equipment logs.
• Report pond and river levels to the snowmaking control room twice daily as needed.
• Notify control room of alarms or issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with snow removal around compressor pads and related areas.
• Help transport equipment and assist maintenance staff as required.
