Job summary

DATAECONOMY is seeking a seasoned Snowflake Architect with expertise in Snowflake Cortex AI for Capital Markets to design and implement scalable cloud data platforms. You will lead architecture discussions, drive delivery, and mentor engineering teams across client engagements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI (RAG, Semantic Search, Multi-Agent Systems), data modeling, ELT/ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), with strong governance and security

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong Snowflake Architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, security, and governance.
• Hands-on Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities: RAG, semantic search, Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search.
• Experience designing scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and Snowflake Scripting skills.
• Capital Markets domain knowledge (Trading, Risk, Market Data, etc.).
• Cloud exposure with AWS or Azure and data governance practices.
• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting experience.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Snowflake data architectures.
• Build AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI, RAG, and semantic search.
• Deliver secure, scalable Snowflake solutions for Capital Markets use cases.
• Lead migrations from legacy platforms to Snowflake (Oracle/DB2, etc.).
• Design and optimize ELT pipelines with Talend and cloud-native tech.
• Apply Snowflake best practices for performance, security, and cost management.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud services, AI/ML platforms, and APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and client workshops; mentor engineers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with expertise in Snowflake AI/Cortex capabilities to design and implement scalable cloud data platforms for Capital Markets clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI (RAG, Semantic Search, and Multi-Agent Systems), enterprise data architecture, and cloud-based analytics solutions. This role requires strong client-facing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead technical discussions, solution design, and delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake Architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, security, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, including:

• Integrate Snowflake with cloud services, AI/ML platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical workshops, and client presentations.
• Mentor development teams and establish engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SnowPro Advanced or SnowPro Architect certification preferred.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) are a plus.
• Experience delivering enterprise data modernization initiatives in Financial Services or Capital Markets environments.
