Qualifications

• 5+ years of data architecture or engineering experience with strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.
• Experience implementing data governance within Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, RBAC, tagging, masking, classification, metadata, and lineage.
• Understanding of enterprise data governance including ownership, stewardship, data quality, privacy, and protection.
• Ability to translate governance policies into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of Snowflake Horizon capabilities.
• Design and implement data classification, tagging, lineage, metadata, and governance controls.
• Configure Snowflake security including RBAC, dynamic data masking, row access policies, and tag-based policies.
• Translate enterprise governance requirements into technical Snowflake controls and standards.
• Partner with data owners, stewards, security, and engineering teams to operationalize governance.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, and implementation documentation.
