Job summary

Deloitte in London seeks a Snowflake Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable data and AI-ready solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will work with clients, third parties and multidisciplinary teams to deliver trusted data foundations for analytics and AI capabilities.

You will apply Snowflake data engineering skills to deliver analytics products, translate requirements, and build secure, scalable data pipelines with SQL, Python and Snowflake features. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent.
• SnowPro Core certification is mandatory.
• Experience delivering data solutions in production environments.
• Experience delivering data programmes in regulated or data-rich industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and AI-ready data products on Snowflake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.
• Develop data models covering acquisition, preprocessing, ETL/ELT and deployment.
• Ensure security, governance and data quality within Snowflake implementations.
• Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Deliver across the full data engineering lifecycle from design to deployment and optimization.
