Job summary

Greenix Pest Control is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer to own the data platform’s bronze through silver layers in Snowflake, with some work on gold layer modeling. You will build reliable ingestion pipelines, orchestrate data flows, and ensure data freshness and quality for analytics and reporting.

You will partner with the analytics team, implement robust processes, and grow your skills in a fast-growing Utah-based company recognized for workplace excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines with standard tools.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Azure Data Factory.
• Strong SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, including connector development and API integrations.
• Design, schedule, and monitor data orchestration workflows for reliability.
• Implement source auditing and freshness alerting to catch stale data before downstream use.
• Write efficient Python and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Monitor pipeline health and diagnose data quality issues with durable fixes.
• Maintain raw, bronze, and silver data layers in Snowflake and support analytics modeling.
