Talon Professional Services is seeking a Snowflake Data Platform Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and security of a cloud-based data environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Snowflake support experience, familiarity with CI/CD, and Snowflake certifications.

Qualifications

Job Title: Snowflake Data Platform Operations Engineer

Employment Type: Contract (12 months)

Required Skills

• Snowflake platform operations and support experience, proficiency in SQL scripting, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and experience with ServiceNow for ITSM processes.

Nice to Have Skills

• Certification in SnowPro Core or additional Snowflake certifications, experience supporting Snowflake integrations with analytics tools (such as Power BI, Looker, Quicksight), exposure to Snowpark, Snowpipe, and Snowflake Cortex AI services, knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Candidates with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake support or platform operations are ideal, with a preference for those holding relevant certifications and having familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
