Job summary

Galent is seeking a Data Architect specializing in Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and insurance domain architecture to design scalable, secure data solutions aligned with enterprise strategies.

You will lead data architecture roadmaps, model insurance data domains, integrate Guidewire and other core systems, and mentor a team of data architects and engineers. This role requires hands-on delivery and collaboration with engineering, analytics, and governance teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on expertise in designing and modeling enterprise data architectures.
• Deep experience with data management, modeling, and insurance data schemas.
• Proven delivery across modern data stacks including lakehouse and real-time analytics.
• Familiarity with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, and regulatory architecture requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data architecture vision and roadmap in alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Architect scalable, secure data integration, warehousing, analytics, and external data augmentation.
• Develop standardized insurance data models, schemas, and pipelines for multiple domains.
• Lead architecture oversight for design, build, and operate phases of key data initiatives.
• Translate requirements into robust data architectures and guide delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform hands-on delivery and problem solving for complex data programs.
