Job summary

Cloudious LLC is seeking a data engineering professional with deep Snowflake expertise to design and administer a modern data warehouse in the cloud. You will work on streams, tasks, Snowpipe, and multi-cluster warehouse setups to ensure scalable analytics.

Responsibilities include refining data models (star schema, snowflake schema, facts and dimensions), implementing SCD types, CDC/ELT, and optimizing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse architecture and administration.
• Handson experience with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, External Stages, Cloning, Time Travel and Multi-Cluster Warehouses.
• Strong SQL and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Data Modeling experience including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts and Dimensions.
• Experience implementing SCD Type 1, Type 2 and surrogate key strategies.
• Handson experience with CDC, ETL/ELT and largescale data migration projects.
• Experience with Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of semistructured data handling (JSON, XML, VARIANT, LATERAL FLATTEN).
• Experience integrating Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of RBAC, Data Governance, Data Masking and Security best practices.
• Experience with Python and orchestration tools.
