Job summary

Bristol Mountain is seeking a Seasonal grooming team member to help maintain ski surfaces and operate grooming equipment. You will be responsible for your own safety, the safety of colleagues, and the efficient upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and slopes.

Requirements include a valid US driver’s license, being at least 18, ability to climb on/off and sit for long periods, and a season-long commitment (Nov 2019–Apr 2020). Evening, weekend and holiday shifts are expected. Starting rate: $20.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid US driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to climb on/off vehicles and heavy equipment frequently.
• Able to sit for extended periods (10 hrs) while operating a snow cat.
• Season-long commitment (November 2019–April 2020).

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal safety and safety of fellow employees and guests.
• Ensure safety of Bristol Mountain’s vehicles, equipment, infrastructure, and tools.
• Maintain and groom mountain surfaces to a high standard.
• Learn to operate Bristol Mountain grooming equipment and basic mountain operations.
• Perform manual grooming and slope maintenance work.
• Maintain good working relationships and communicate with co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn how to operate all Bristol Mountain grooming equipment and basic mountain operations
• Manual labor in other grooming and slope maintenance work
• Maintain good working relationship and open communication with co-workers
• Other duties as assigned

Hours

• Hours of employment are dependent on business demands; overnight shifts required
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
