  • Salt and De-Icing - Apply salt, sand, or de-icing chemicals to surfaces to prevent the formation of ice or to melt existing ice, ensuring safer walking conditions.
  • Clearing Pathways - Create clear paths wide enough for safe pedestrian passage, ensuring that entrances, exits, ramps, and other critical areas are accessible and safe to use.
  • Safety Awareness - Exercise caution and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents while working in challenging weather conditions and using potentially hazardous equipment.
  • Communication - Communicate effectively with supervisors, and colleagues regarding the status of snow removal activities, potential hazards, and any issues encountered.
  • Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including dates, times, areas cleared, and materials used with the First-Choice service verification app.
  • Physical Stamina - Possess the physical stamina and endurance required for prolonged shoveling and labor in cold weather conditions.
  • Teamwork - Collaborate with other snow removal team members to ensure efficient and effective snow clearing operations.
  • Training - Participate in training sessions related to safe snow operations, equipment handling, and emergency response protocols.
