Mariani Landscape is seeking reliable snow shovelers for the winter season. The Snow Shoveler will shovel snow and remove ice from sidewalks and driveways, and assist with salt application. The position is on-call with hours varying by weather and needs, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and outdoor conditions is essential.

• Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience is preferred but not essential.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site.
• Work Environment: Exposed to exterior elements (i.e., pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.).
• Schedule: on call 24/7 during winter weather, including weekends, holidays, overnights.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with Zone Coordinator, Area Supervisor, and others to ensure a high level of communication, exceptional quality standards, and efficient job performance is consistently met.
• Ensure all tasks are being done following company’s procedures, safety, and personnel policies.
• Snow shoveling and ice removal from sidewalks and driveways.
• Follow instructions from Zone Coordinator or Area Supervisor, meet deadlines, and maintain the schedule assigned.
• Operation of sidewalk equipment including sweeper, skid with broom, UTV, and snow shovel as needed.
• Ice management as needed, direction given by Zone Coordinator or Area Supervisor.
• Apply salt as needed and directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities and tasks subject to change as needed.

Job Overview: Mariani Landscape is seeking reliable snow shovelers to join our team for the snow season! The Snow Shoveler position is responsible for shoveling snow and ice removal from walks, driveways, and parking lots during a snow event. Position is on call, hours and schedule may vary.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check, and be physically fit enough to meet the demands of the functions listed below.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site. Requires extended periods of activity including, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of a workday.
• Work Environment: Exposed to exterior elements (i.e., pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.). External environment with all weather and terrain exposure.
• Schedule: Due to the unpredictability of the winter weather, scheduling is on call. Expectation of availability for the winter weather is 24/7 on-call work. This includes weekends, holidays, overnights, etc.
