Southview Design is seeking a Snow Salt Truck Operator for the winter season to apply de-icing materials across client properties with safety and quality in mind. The role requires on-call availability and flexibility for a 24/7 winter schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include operating the salt truck and salter, coordinating with supervisors, and completing administrative tasks efficiently while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate salt truck and salter to apply de-icing materials.
• Coordinate with managers and zone coordinators for efficient job performance.
• Complete administrative tasks (inventory, time entry, DOT pre-trip) promptly.
• Follow company procedures, safety policies and scheduling requirements.
• Be on-call for winter weather shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
