Job summary

Snowbasin Resort is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Snow Removal worker to operate snow clearing equipment and maintain safe, accessible roadways and parking areas. You will start early, with shifts around 3am–10am, and may have longer hours during heavy snow.

This role includes the benefit of a free season pass for you and dependents, plus deep discounts for friends and family. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays and comply with all safety procedures while maintaining awareness

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment for snow removal.
• Must have physical stamina to work in cold weather and lift 75 lbs.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep roadways clear of ice and snow.
• Keep parking lots clear of ice and snow.
• Address guest concerns and resolve problems.
• Work early mornings (3am–10am) with possible longer shifts.
• Assist management with related tasks as needed.

Description

SUMMARY:

Seasonal full time. As Snow Removal, you will operate heavy equipment for snow removal at Snowbasin Resort. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep roadways clear of ice and snow
• Keep all parking lots clear of ice and snow
• Perform any reasonable tasks as requested by management
• Maintain awareness of equipment, signs and surroundings to avoid damaging property.
• Must comply with all safety procedures within Mountain Operations.
• Must follow all safety procedures and practices in order to protect and assure personal safety and the safety of co-workers, guests, other equipment operators, the equipment and facilities.
• Address guest complaints, concerns and resolve problems.
• Early mornings required, typically 3am-10am (sometimes longer & earlier shifts).
• Could also include afternoon shifts depending on snow conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to work in any weather condition for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 75lbs
