Job summary

Killington Pico Ski Resort is hiring for a winter seasonal Road and Parking Lot Maintenance position based in Killington, VT. You will operate heavy plow vehicles and perform general maintenance under supervision, contributing to safe, efficient resort operations.

Applicants should hold a CDL-B, have 1+ years of snow removal experience and be willing to work 10-hour shifts in varying weather. A valid medical card and strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-B license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening including FMCSA CDL Clearinghouse.
• Medical Card valid through duration of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment at the start and finish of each shift to ensure it is in proper working order to minimize equipment downtime.
• Operate heavy duty trucks (>26,000 GWV) or medium-duty trucks (<26,000 GVW) safely and efficiently while performing snow removal operations.
• Perform other tasks related to the maintenance of roads and parking lots under supervision.
• Maintain daily driverlogs/reports on maintenance activities as directed.
• Operate a range of heavy machinery including loaders and skid steers and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Follow all safety policies; provide superior service to guests and colleagues.
