Woodward Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada is hiring a part-time Snow Removal Equipment Operator to keep roads, parking lots, and entrances clear. You will operate front-end loaders, plow trucks, and skid steers at Boreal and Soda Springs, embracing early mornings and outdoor work in all weather.

This role suits experienced operators who take safety seriously and enjoy the mountain lifestyle. CDL preferred but not required; valid license and 18+ are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery in winter or snow removal.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
• Able to work outdoors in cold, snowy conditions.
• Willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, plow trucks, skid steers, and snow removal equipment.

As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator at Boreal and Soda Springs, you'll play a vital role in keeping our resort safe, accessible, and running smoothly through all weather. You'll be behind the controls of loaders, plows, and other large machinery to remove snow from roads, parking lots, walkways, and key resort areas. This is a part-time, hands-on, high-impact job for experienced operators who enjoy early mornings, working outdoors, and making a difference.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating front-end loaders, plow trucks, skid steers, and other snow removal equipment
• Clearing snow from access roads, parking lots, building entrances, walkways, and resort infrastructure
• Maintaining equipment through regular checks, fueling, and reporting maintenance needs
• Working early mornings, nights, weekends, and during active storms
• Following all safety procedures while operating equipment in high-traffic or guest-facing areas
• Supporting other departments with equipment needs as necessary (e.g., hauling, clearing space for deliveries, etc.)
• Collaborating with the facilities team to prioritize areas based on operational needs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy machinery in winter or snow removal environments
• Must be 18 or older
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods in cold, snowy, and icy conditions
• Comfortable working overnight or early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong situational awareness and safety-first mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or with a team
