Job summary

Enviroscapes is seeking dependable Snow Removal Equipment Operators and Drivers for seasonal, on-call work in Norton, OH. You’ll operate snowplow trucks, salt trucks, loaders, skid steers, and related equipment during winter events.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of experience with snow removal equipment, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Work may include nights, weekends, and holidays when snow is in the forecast.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience operating snow removal equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is preferred for driving roles.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and lift 60 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate snowplow trucks, salt trucks and other equipment.
• Operate front-end loaders, skid steers and sidewalk machines as needed.
• Apply salt and ice-control materials during snow events.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate snowplow trucks, salt trucks, and other snow removal equipment.
• Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, and sidewalk machines (ATVs, RTVs, etc.).
• Apply salt and other ice-control materials as needed.
• Drive and operate equipment in varying winter weather conditions.
• Monitor weather forecasts and stay informed about upcoming snow events.
• Attend branch meetings when requested.
• Follow all company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating snow removal equipment is preferred (1–2 years).
• Experience driving in winter weather conditions.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets company fleet insurance requirements is required for operating company vehicles.
• A driver's license is not required for positions involving equipment operation only.

Work Schedule

This is a seasonal, on-call position. Work opportunities are based on weather conditions and snowfall.

Snow events may require overnight, early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability. Hours will vary depending on weather conditions and business needs.
