Job summary

Greatjob is seeking a Snow Removal Operator to operate plow trucks, skid steers, and de-icing equipment to keep client properties clear of snow and ice during winter weather. You will monitor weather, load materials, and ensure safe, efficient service while maintaining equipment.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent; prior equipment experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Must be able to work in cold conditions and irregular hours during storms.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior snow removal or de-icing equipment experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment safely and efficiently to clear snow and ice from driveways, parking lots, sidewalks and entryways.
• Operate salt spreaders and de-icing application equipment to apply approved materials according to conditions and client specs.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform routine maintenance; report issues promptly to management.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used, including time on each property and material quantities.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE at all times; participate in daily safety briefings as assigned.
