Job summary

Landscaping by J. Michael in Massachusetts is seeking experienced Plow and Equipment Operators and Ground De-Icing Crews to service our commercial properties during the snow season. CSP (Certified Snow Professional) encouraged to apply and training is provided.

Candidates must have prior snow removal experience with plows on trucks, skid steers, loaders, or tractors with snow blowers. A MA driver’s license is mandatory; a hoisting license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Has worked for a professional snow and ice company within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating angle plows on dump trucks, skid steers, loaders and tractors w/ snow blowers.
• Hoisting license is necessary if using heavy equipment
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license is mandatory for driving trucks and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Exceptional POSITIVE "CAN DO" attitude.
• Perform Pre-trip and Post storm checklists.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the site has serviced to our clients expectations as well as the company.
• To meet opening times of site requirements.
• Ensure that the tenants, owners and customers have safe passage onto the property.
• Inspect site before you leave.
• Responsible for recording time, material and submit completed operation photo's.
• Must be available Sunday through Saturday and at various hours and shifts during the snow season.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
