Top Flight Maintenance is hiring a Snow Maintenance Equipment Operator to support winter operations and help keep client properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events. This seasonal role combines equipment operation with hands-on snow maintenance and requires dependable attendance when weather events occur.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate assigned snow equipment, including plow trucks, skid steers with snow attachments, Snowrators, and similar equipment.
- Snow & Ice Maintenance: Manage snow and icy conditions on assigned commercial and residential properties, including plowing, shoveling, and applying ice melt as needed.
- Route & Team Communication: Follow assigned routes and direction from team leads, communicate status or site concerns, and work effectively with the snow team.
- Safety & Equipment Care: Use safe winter work practices, complete routine equipment checks, and promptly report damage or maintenance needs.
- Weather-Driven Availability: Be available for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when snow events require service.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience operating plow trucks or other snow equipment preferred; prior snow plowing experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during snow events.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned reporting location or job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in snow, ice, cold temperatures, and other difficult winter conditions.
- Ability to perform manual snow work, including shoveling and carrying materials, when needed.
- Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
