Widmyer Facilities is seeking a dependable Snow Plow & Grounds Technician to maintain exterior property appearance, safety, and accessibility across residential communities year-round. The role emphasizes winter snow removal and summer groundskeeping, requiring flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in snow removal, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating snow plows, lawn equipment, and other grounds maintenance machinery preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when operating company vehicles is required.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and outdoor maintenance equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safe, attractive properties.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours during inclement weather.

Responsabilités

• Operate snow plow trucks, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment as assigned.
• Plow and clear snow from parking lots, driveways, entrances, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
• Apply ice melt, salt, sand, or other approved deicing materials to reduce slip-and-fall hazards.
• Monitor weather forecasts and respond promptly to snowstorms, freezing rain, and icy conditions.
• Ensure building entrances, pedestrian walkways, accessible parking spaces, ramps, and emergency access routes remain clear and safe.
