Job summary

DMI, LLC is seeking a SNOW Developer to join us. A ServiceNow Web Application developer that can assist with the development of front-end web applications built through the ServiceNow low/no code environment to support business processes.

Duties include analyzing, designing, developing, applying, and supporting complex enterprise projects; evaluating customer requirements; interfacing with offices; and solving problems in system design and updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Mathematics, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or related discipline.
• Master's degree in computer science or related IT field.
• 4–7 years of web application development experience with 2 years in DevOps.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for front-end Web applications.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET Core, NUnit, AWS, Azure, and SQL/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects.
• Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Interface with other offices and inform user departments on system requirements.
• Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review.
• Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems updates.
• Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility and backup procedures.
• Develop new systems, upgrades, and enhancements while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Perform platform administration duties on Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Implement CI/CD technologies using Bamboo, Git, Octopus, Docker, PowerShell, and Kubernetes.
• Implement application logging and monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects.
• Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to systems.
• Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review.
• Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications.
• Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures.
• Work on the development of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems, and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards.
• Perform platform administration duties, including patching, performance tuning, performance monitoring, and AD integration on both Windows and Linux platforms, as well as cloud environments (Azure, AWS, SGP).
• Implement CI/CD technologies using tools such as Bamboo, Git, Octopus, Docker, PowerShell (Sh), and Kubern.
• Implement application logging and monitoring.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or in a related discipline;
• Four (4) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in web application development with two (2) years of experience in DevOps development.
• Master's degree in computer science or a related IT field.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in ServiceNow developing front-end Web applications.
• Proficiency with relevant back-end programming languages, programming frameworks and tools, databases, and development platforms, including C#, .NET Core, NUnit, AWS, Azure, and SQL/Oracle.
• Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all types.
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical-level information systems and data processing management.
• Knowledge of multi-tiered applications such as Web services, APIs, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report servers.
• Proven experience working in an Agile software development environment, including experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
