Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, totaling 16 hours per week. ASAP start is preferred.

You will ensure resident care, develop and adjust nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants, and document medication administration. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and has prior RN experience in a nursing community; SNF/LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for residents with integrity
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Ability to work 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shifts

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean, safe environment
• Develop and ensure nursing care plan in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Make nursing diagnoses forming basis for care strategy
• Collaborate with residents and healthcare team
• Record administration of medications
• Monitor staff to follow safety regulations and facility procedures
• Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies
• Perform other duties as directed

Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Skilled Nursing Facility on Saturdays and Sundays, 2-10:30p. 16 hours a week. ASAP starts!

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants

• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care

• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team

• Records the administration of medication

• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility

• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies

• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license

• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community

• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity

• The ability to work flexible hours

• SNF/LTC experience preferred
