Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will assess residents, develop care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants, and document medication administration.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have RN experience in a nursing community, and can work flexible hours. Prior SNF/LTC experience is preferred, and you will help ensure safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

• Record the administration of medication.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• SNF/LTC experience preferred
