Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica in Missouri's Jackson area is hiring for a Full-time Vending Route Technician responsible for stocking and servicing vending machines, managing inventory, and ensuring product freshness at accounts.

Ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting 30 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs, maintains cleanliness and order, and reports on route performance daily. This role emphasizes safety and reliable equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and servicing vending machines; manage inventory goals and maintain product freshness at accounts.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
• Responsible for stocking of product in all assigned full-service vendors.
• Must run all accounts according to manifest; no accounts missed without prior approval from vending service manager.
• Responsible for minor service repairs to all full-service vendors assigned to his/her route.
• Responsible for monitoring sales by vendor using the daily route-book logs.
• Make recommendations to the vending service manager for vendors that need to adjust frequency based on service needs.
• Insure that all full-service vendors are in compliance of the standard set.
• Monitoring the weekly product load-out and aim to reduce undelivered cases to 10% or less.
• Take weekly inventory of vendor parts assigned to vehicle and maintain inventories of all necessary parts.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of each vendor on the full-service route.
• Ensure there are never hand-written product ID tags in the vendors.
• Reporting of any machine cash shortages to the vending service manager.
• Performs inside maintenance at vending shop as directed by the vending service manager.
• Responsible for on-the-job safety and care of all equipment, including delivery vehicle.

• Responsible for minor service repairs to all full-service vendors assigned to his/her route.
