Job summary

FurstStaffing is seeking a General Laborer to support a snack manufacturing plant in Belvidere, IL. You will pack products, palletize boxes, and help keep the production line clean and sanitary. The role pays $17.00 per hour with an alternating week schedule that includes a three-day weekend every other week.

This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and frequent walking and stairs. Prior experience in packaging and line work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Stand throughout the shift and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Reach, bend, twist, and walk up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Pack product into boxes and cartons.
• Stack boxes onto pallets.
• Feed product onto the production line.
• Load cups onto the conveyor line.
• Create and break down boxes.
• Load folded boxes from cage into baler.
• Inspect product and packaging components visually.
• Clean and sanitize the production line.
