Richardson Electronics, Ltd. is seeking an SMT Operator I for 1st shift in LaFox, IL. The role monitors and operates SMT equipment to produce electronic circuits, including selective solder, conformal coating, and wave solder processes.

You will perform minor program adjustments, maintain production records, and support quality through careful setup and troubleshooting. Must have a High School Diploma and 2–5 years of SMT experience, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long

Qualifications

• Experience in SMT environments is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a manufacturing setting.
• Working computer knowledge to run equipment and record data.

Responsibilities

• Run SMT equipment: selective solder, conformal coating, and wave soldering.
• Adjust machine programs and setup to ensure product quality.
• Maintain production records and assist with troubleshooting.
