A leading electronics manufacturing company located in Houston, Texas is searching for Automation Equipment Engineers to ensure the smooth operation of their SMT assembly lines. The role includes performing maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, optimizing processes, and training technicians. Qualifications

• More than 1 year of automation equipment maintenance experience.
• Familiar with automation equipment such as Router, mylar placement, Glue dispenser, etc.
• Candidates preferred with background in consumer electronics or automotive electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and calibration on SMT automation equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement emergency repairs.
• Adjust equipment parameters to improve yield and efficiency.
• Assist in equipment performance enhancement projects.
• Write maintenance SOPs and failure analysis reports.
• Train technicians and collaborate with other departments.

Skills

Familiarity with automation equipment mechanical/electrical systems

Proficient in using multimeters and oscilloscopes

Ability to quickly learn SMT equipment control software

Interdepartmental communication skills

Education

Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronic Engineering or related fields
