Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology is seeking a SMD TW Test Pack Operator for the Weekend Shift in Columbus, NE. Fri–Sun, 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include packing surface mount resistors and preparing reels and bulk packages.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of experience. U.S. Person eligibility and ITAR/EAR access are required. Vishay offers multiple benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Eligibility as a U.S. Person per ITAR/EAR.
• Access to information subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Turn on packing machine and set up accordingly.
• Place reels, cover tape and carrier tape on machine.
• Receive order form QC or Finished Good Stock.
• Set up computer to packing and testing specifications on the production card.
• Set counters and run out leader tape as required.
• Load resistors into syntron bowl or sticks to the table.
• Start machine and operate to pack the required quantity.
• Print PNID and barcode labels as needed.
• Package orders in bulk packaging when necessary.

Job Summary

SMD TW Test Pack Operator – Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday) 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime available as needed. Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including product types WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH.

Location

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE - one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology with around 600 employees.

Responsibilities

• Turn on packing machine.
• Place reels, cover tape and carrier tape on machine.
• Receive order form QC or Finished Good Stock.
• Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
• Set counters.
• Run out leader tape.
• Place resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
• Start machine by pressing keyboard button.
• Operate machine until quantity desired is packed.
• Run out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.
• Remove finished reel from machine.
• If order quantity exceeds reel capacity, perform procedures for additional reels.
• Package orders in bulk packaging when necessary.
• Print PNID labels and barcode labels as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One month to three months experience.
• Eligibility as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) per 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
• Access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
