Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a DTH Full-time Technician in Hobbs, NM to install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology for customers in their homes. You will become an expert on industry-leading products and manage field service tasks with a focus on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers with integrity.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Must live within a 20-mile radius of Hobbs, NM.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and assets with a business-owner mentality.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes.

• Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.
• Control your income by providing opportunities for customers to purchase additional products and services.
• Leverage service and installation appointments into leads and revenue.
